Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the MaxLooks AI app (the "Application") for mobile devices, created by Appsforge (the "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is provided "AS IS".

Important: MaxLooks AI may process user-provided photos that include a face. This is sensitive information. This policy explains what face data is processed, how it is used, where it is sent, and how long it is retained.

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address)
The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages
The time spent on the Application
The operating system you use on your mobile device

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

User-Provided Information

For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain information. This may include content you choose to upload (for example, a selfie/photo) and account/subscription information handled by our payment and analytics partners.

Face Data and Photo Processing

What face data does the app collect?

The Application processes face-related data only when you voluntarily upload or capture a photo for analysis. This may include:

Facial image/photo (a selfie or uploaded photo that may include a face)
Facial landmarks and measurements derived from the image (e.g., approximate face proportions)
Derived analysis outputs generated by AI (e.g., scores, ratios, and appearance insights)

Planned uses of face data

Face data is used solely for the following purposes:

On-demand AI analysis to generate the results you request
Personalized feedback (for example, appearance insights and recommendations)
Quality and safety to detect errors, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability (using minimal data where possible)

We do not use face data for advertising, cross-app tracking, identity verification, or face recognition. The Application does not create or store biometric identifiers (such as faceprints/templates) for identifying you.

Model training

The Service Provider does not use your uploaded facial images to train our own models. Third-party AI providers may have their own policies; see the "Third Party Access" section below for links.

Third Party Access

The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own privacy policies about handling data. Below are links to the privacy policies of third-party service providers used by the Application:

Sharing face data with third parties

If you submit a photo for analysis, the Application may securely transmit that photo (and minimal related metadata) to third-party AI service providers (such as OpenAI and/or Google Gemini) strictly to perform the requested analysis and return results to you.

The Service Provider does not sell face data. The Service Provider does not share face data with third parties for their advertising purposes.

Disclosure of information

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
with trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

Where Your Data Is Stored

The Service Provider may use cloud infrastructure and service providers to operate the Application. Depending on your location, your data may be processed and stored in countries different from your own.

Face photos: Photos you submit for analysis may be processed by third-party AI providers' servers in order to generate results. The Service Provider aims to minimize retention of photos and does not store them longer than necessary for the analysis (see "Data Retention").

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter.

Face data retention

Photos submitted for face analysis are intended to be processed temporarily to generate your results. The Service Provider does not intend to keep facial photos after analysis is completed, except:

if you explicitly choose to save results (for example, locally on your device), or
if short-term retention is required for security, abuse prevention, debugging, or legal compliance.

If you'd like the Service Provider to delete User Provided Data you have provided via the Application, please contact us at info@appsforge.xyz and we will respond in a reasonable time.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider at info@appsforge.xyz.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

When photos are transmitted for analysis, we use secure network connections (such as HTTPS) where applicable. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Your Choices

You can choose not to upload a photo. The core face-analysis features require a photo to work.
You can request deletion of User Provided Data by contacting info@appsforge.xyz.
You can uninstall the app to stop further collection.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended.
